Ghosts of Beloved Past
As I walk the sun-bathed streets of Nikolaev and see all the wonderful couples of the city out and about enjoying the scenery I notice a movie poster entitled “Ghosts of Girlfriends Past”, and images of past relationships come to mind.
Your memories are like these tiny stones – they will take the shape you give them
Initially we sometimes think negatively about these times, but I am inspired by the beauty and warmth of the summer season to think of such times in a much more positive light. Like gazing upon the magnificent views of the river I am aware of the new prospects of finding such a wonderful and rewarding relationship upon the horizon.
By thinking such good thoughts, one brings about such good karma, that one can only have the best of outcomes.
We must also be on the lookout for not repeating past mistakes or we will never find our true love and happiness. This is why we try very hard to always see the positive side of our past, and to make sure that we are repeating only these good things while managing to stay away from the negative aspects of these long ago relationships.
Also, many of us still remember our first love and first kiss. Of course we do!!! Because this is an important part of our lives which we cannot throw away or forget about. We remember our first love, and in a while it becomes the perfect script for a perfect melodrama. This is why, when we face certain problems in personal life, we look to the past for all of our lifes questions.
And of course each of us has its own Ghost from the past but it will be existing till that time until you allow it to be. So this is the question: To be or Not to be??? And each person has to make his own decision – to live with the emotional baggage of past relationships or just to be grateful for obtained life experience and go ahead to new love.
But if you are still recollecting past relations and your first love – then start from your “Very First Love”.
From this inspiration I am prepared to take that first step, the one which scares us so much, as many “first” time things do.
