The term “fashion” is often used as a synonym to glamour, beauty and style. It is also generally referred as “fad” or “trend”. But does this mean that what is fashionable is always stylish? A person is described as “fashionable” if dresses in a way that fits the current popular style of clothing. On the contrary, a person is “unfashionable” if dresses outdated. So fashion changes rapidly while style can never be outdated.
SO What is FASHION?
Fashion is a way to express oneself and it allows people to try on many roles in life. Fashion is something each one of us deals with every morning while trying to decide what to wear that day. It is how we celebrate the variety of the world we live in and it is necessary for bringing excitement and beauty into our lives.
Everyone knows that New York City, Milan, Paris, London, Los Angeles, Berlin, Tokyo, Rome, Miami, Hong Kong, Sydney, Barcelona, Madrid, Vienna, New Delhi, and Dubai are recognized as global fashion centers where designers could display and exhibit their new fashion collections of clothing but though post USSR countries do not have any global fashion centers, Fashion weeks are being regularly held in Moscow and Kiev. The last 26th Ukrainian fashion week has taken place in Kiev from10th till 17th of March 2010. So times change and while the western women are becoming more democratic in their clothing and prefer casual comfortable clothes to elegant and feminine ones, women in former USSR countries still tend to be feminine and well-dressed. It is not a secret that nowadays the most beautiful women in the world are Slavic women. Unlike women from Western European countries and USA, Slavic women prefer to dress feminine and sexy and take good care of their appearance on a daily basis and regardless of their income. So in a shopping center, grocery store or just out in the streets you cannot help noticing the beauty of the Slavic women. You might like blondes or brunettes, tall slim women or petite ones be sure each one of them you will find lovely in her own way. Each one of them will be elegantly dressed and with make up on daytime or nighttimes, when casual or when going out for a date on Saturday nights.
